This is a tech article I wrote in regards to installing a 2.5" Old Man Emu suspension on a 99 Cherokee

*TIP* Put wd40 or PB Blaster on each of the removed bolts up to one week in advance to suspension work

First: The Rear: we decided to do the rear of the install first because it is thought (by some) to be the hard side.
Second: Jack up your Cherokee from the differential and then put jackstands in, we used the hitch to hold the jacks.
Third: Remove the wheels/tires
Fourth: Remove the U-bolts/rear swaybar, old shocks
Fifth: Remove the old leafsprings and install the new spring pack
Sixth: Jack the axle back up into place and install the U-bolts, shocks
*TIP* Keep the rear swaybar off of your xj to get the most flex of the rear suspension
Seventh: Tighten everything down and put the wheels on and lower your Cherokee

First: This is the front instalation.  Jack up the front of your Cherokee right beside (to the middle) the differential and support it with the jack stands under the frame, right behind the lca mounts.
Second: Remove the swaybar mounts, shocks, and bottom bolts of the lcas, move the lcas out of the way.
Third: Lift the right side of the vehicle by moving the jack over under the differential, to relieve stress on the right side, remove the coil retaining clip and remove the coil by pushing down on the axle
Fourth: Let the jack carefully down untill you can remove the coil (once the retainer clip is removed)
Fifth: Install both coils by pushing down on the other side of the axle and wedging the coil in, you do not need a coil compressor for this job.
Sixth: Install the lcas first, the shocks second, and the swaybar last
Seventh: Tighten everything down and put the wheels back on

This is a tech article, it does NOT replace a set of instructions, I will try to get pics up of an instalation, but it wont be this lift, it will be my 5" with new lcas, trackbar, shackle, and shock
